Our History
Tunas Bangsa Christian School and Yayasan Harapan Bangsa operate under Gereja Yesus Kristus Tuhan (Abbalove Ministries), with the core mission of building a generation with Christ-like character. Starting with a small step guided by a God-given vision to impact the next generation, this school has continued to grow through God’s providence.
To this day, we have been trusted to guide the lives of many young generations across various locations:
- Tangerang: Gading Serpong
- Jakarta: Green Ville, Citra, Sunter, Cakung, and Gunung Sahari
- West Java: Cikarang and Depok
- Bali
- Kupang (Independent School)

We continually pursue innovative approaches to learning to empower every student to reach their fullest potential. Through this dedication, we prepare every student to fulfill God’s unique calling for their life and become a blessing to their generation.
1992 – The First Step
In July 1992, Tunas Bangsa Christian School first opened in Gunung Sahari, Central Jakarta, with 36 students. From this humble beginning, a commitment to character education based on the Word of God was the main focus.

Over time, the school grew and expanded its services to various regions. While remaining faithful to its original vision, Tunas Bangsa developed into a school network trusted by many families.

2020 – A Wider Reach
By 2020, Tunas Bangsa Christian School had campuses in Sunter, Gunung Sahari, Citra, Grand Cakung, Cikarang, Depok, Green Ville, and Gading Serpong. Beyond Jabodetabek, independently run Tunas Bangsa schools exist in Denpasar and Kupang.
